Terms of contract
By making an advance payment for the tour, you agree to the following terms and conditions between Ride Himalaya and the tour participant.Booking and payment:
To book a place on any of our tours, a prepayment of $ 500 is required (or in another currency agreed with the tour organizer, equivalent to the rate on the day of booking). The rest of the payment is paid upon arrival, at the start of the tour, in cash to the tour organizer (or by transfer in agreement with the tour organizer).Documents and equipment:
To take part on any of our tours, each participant (except for participants – passengers) must have:- Original current driver’s license with category A (motorcycles)
- Minimum 2 years of riding experience and feel comfortable riding 6-7 hours in one day.
Mandatory availability:
- Helmet
- Protection of hips, knees, elbows, shoulders and backs
- Sturdy or special riding boots
- Glove
- Protective equipment from rain and bad weather
Discounts:
Each participant in the tour is entitled to receive 100 USD discounts on the cost of the tour for each additional participant provided.Pledge and insurance:
Upon receipt of a rented motorcycle / SUV, a deposit must be paid in the amount indicated on the tour page. The tour organizer strongly recommends that all participants purchase health insurance and accident insurance that covers health damage when driving a motorcycle or other vehicle and is valid during and in the tour area.Tour organization:
Ride Himalaya provides motorcycles / SUVs as part of a tourist package and is responsible for the provision of services (guide support, accommodation, fuel, purchase of tickets to national parks, museums and other attractions, listed in the tour description). All participants in the tour are required to sign an agreement on the provision of tourism services before the start of the tour.Risk and responsibility:
Participation in the tour takes place solely at your own risk. Ride Himalaya is not responsible for any injuries that a tour participant may receive, fatal or otherwise. Also, we are not liable for any loss or damage to your property, no matter how this damage was caused. The tour organizer is not liable for any damage caused to third parties as a result of the participant’s actions during the tour. Ride Himalaya provides motorcycles / SUVs as part of a tourist package. Motorcycle images at various sources or on this website do not always present the exact version of the vehicles provided.Cancellation:
Rules for canceling mototours at the initiative of the participant:

- If the participant has notified about the cancellation more than 60 days in advance, 80% of the amount paid will be refunded.

- If the participant has notified about the cancellation more than 45 days in advance, 40% of the amount paid will be refunded.

- If the participant has notified about the cancellation more than 30 days in advance, 25% of the amount paid will be refunded.
- If the participant has notified about the cancellation less than 30 days in advance, deposit will not be refound. But, dont worries, you may transfer deposit to any upcoming tours with RideHimalaya company.
Rules for canceling mototours at the initiative of the organizer:
The organizer is not responsible for the impossibility of participating in a journey if it did not take place due to the refusal to issue a visa to the participant in connection with the decision of the immigration or customs services of the country of destination or country of departure, or non-compliance of the general passport with the requirements of the immigration services, as well as due to illness, injury, and other personal reasons for the participant. The organizer is not responsible for disrupting the trip, due to changes in weather conditions on the route, in which movement on motor vehicles becomes impossible. In the event of a failure of the travel through the fault of the organizer, the organizer returns the cost of his services to the participant.Other conditions:
If the participant does not comply with the rules of the road, the organizer reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the contract and seize the motorcycle from the participant. The participant is required to pay all fines received during the use of the rented motorcycle. Unpaid fines may be reimbursed from a collateral deposit. The participants undertake not to harm the environment and / or third parties by any actions related to riding motorbikes during the operation of the contract with the organizer. If a participant repeatedly ignores the rules or threatens third parties with his actions, the organizer reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the contract and seize the motorcycle from the participant.*While on a ride in rear extreme case by natural crisis/road blockage/accident/snow fall/earthquake etc, RideHimalaya holds the rights to changes route plans/abort/detour, as rider safety is our prime concern. No amount is refundable in that condition.
